Simply Complex.

What is with people these days… we’re so complex yet we seem to allow people to think they can get away with putting us into categories. Why do we allow stereotypes to be perpetuated? We define who we are. I decide who I am who I love and what’s right for me. These decisions can be made by other people for you but they shouldn’t be. It’s your life and you only get one chance to make it yours. I’m tired of letting people decide for me. People need to accept each other more often or at least realize that first impressions aren’t always right. People are like onions- they don’t just have one layer. And until you become that person you don’t really know them at all. Most people don’t inquire much further than the first layer those are the close minded. Maybe they’ll peel back a few layer but then they may find something that they just can’t be bothered to try to understand. Be open minded. Give things a chance and if they fall apart or just don’t work out sometime it’s okay to back away. But remember there’s a reason people are the way they are. People aren’t as simple as we’d like to think. Humans try to explain the unexplainable. I don’t really like it when older people try to explain why the sky is blue. Why is it orange? Why is it pink? Why not sit back and enjoy it? It’s okay to ask questions, curiosity is great! But sometimes, just take in a deep breath and allow a moment to sink in why do we question happiness? Enjoy it while it lasts. Get lost in the moment. Love life.
